Tasting Notes

Silvery straw color. Sweet aromas and flavors of coconut cream, caramelized bananas, ripe mango, clove, and spumoni with a satiny, crisp, off-dry light body and a smooth, interesting, breezy finish with nuances of candied lime. A sweet and slightly candied rum that will make tasty daiquiris and friendly mixed drinks. Bacoo White Rum is aged 3 years in Oak Barrels then filtered through charcoal to extract the color – not flavor.  Higher 86 proof is enjoyable as it cuts through sweetness of the ingredients offered in mixed drinks.

About White Rum

Rum is a liquor made by fermenting then distilling sugarcane molasses or sugarcane juice. The distillate, a clear liquid, is usually aged in oak barrels. Most rums are produced in Caribbean and American countries, but also in other sugar producing countries, such as the Philippines and India.
